Does Tunnel work with ERPs that are not connected to the cloud?

Yes. Tunnel was specifically built to work with legacy and home-grown ERP systems that do not integrate easily with banking systems. Tunnel is ERP- and bank-agnostic and works with your current systems and processes.

Is Tunnel licensed as a money transmitter?

No, Tunnel does not operate as a money transmitter. Money transmitters typically withdraw funds from your account into their own, and then disburse these funds from their bank account to your vendors. Because these funds flow through their bank accounts during the payment process, they are subject to regulatory oversight and must possess a money transmitter license.

Tunnel, on the other hand, is a software that issues instructions to your banks to send funds to your vendors. Payment processing is handled exclusively by your banks.

Does Tunnel have hidden charges?

Tunnel has no hidden charges, and you pay only a flat annual subscription fee to use the platform, with two pricing tiers.

Is Tunnel similar to RegalPay?

Tunnel is built by the team that created RegalPay and has developed a more advanced, cloud-based solution that expands on RegalPay's capabilities.

Is it hard to convince my bank to integrate Tunnel?

No. We work closely with banks who are happy to use a service like Tunnel, as it lets their customers use the bank's services easily without expensive and effort-intensive development projects by the bank.

What exactly is auto-sync?

When you use Tunnel out of the box, the platform asks you to complete a payment run in your ERP and upload the report manually to Tunnel. It then works with the bank, obtains internal approvals, and sends remittance advice to vendors.

If you upgrade to auto-sync, Tunnel's implementation team installs a connector in your network, which then automatically generates the report and sends it to Tunnel without any manual intervention.

We require a couple of weeks for this implementation, unlike the out of box option which you can use immediately.

Does auto-sync require ERP customizations?

No. Auto-sync is specifically built to create seamless connections from your existing ERP to Tunnel and your bank, similar to connections made by cloud-based ERPs with APIs.
